PaveSet Resin Bound System

Resin Only, don't include aggregates.

It is a premium two-component resin binder designed for high-end resin bound stone systems. It is environmentally friendly, aesthetically pleasing, highly wear-resistant, and offers excellent mechanical strength, adhesion, low shrinkage, and outstanding weather resistance. By combining with various coloured aggregates, it can create rich decorative finishes with elegant texture. Key advantages include wear resistance, compression resistance, chemical resistance, waterproof performance, UV stability, and strong anti-yellowing properties.

1. Technical Properties

Solid Content: >99%
VOC Content: ≤60 g/L
Appearance: Uniform colour, smooth and even surface
Drying Time (25°C):
- Touch Dry: ≤8 hours
- Fully Cured: ≤24 hours
- ≥12 MPa (3 cm thickness)
- ≥24 MPa (15 mm thickness)

2. Application Conditions

Ambient Temperature: 10–35°C
Relative Humidity: <80%
Winter-grade material required below 15°C

Substrate Requirements:
- Concrete strength ≥ C25
- Clean, dry, and sound surface
- New concrete must be fully cured with moisture content ≤6%
- Mechanical grinding or shot blasting required for correct surface profile

3. Mixing & Application

Mix Ratio (by weight): A : B = 3 : 1

Mixing Method:
- Pre-mix Component A thoroughly
- Add Component B and mix mechanically for ~1 minute until uniform
- Manual mixing requires 2–3 minutes

Application Method:
- Apply mixed resin as primer coat
- Mix resin with aggregates
- Lay and level mixture
- Compact and finish edges

4. Coverage & Consumption

Aggregate Size 3–5 mm:
- Resin : Aggregate = 1 : 25
- Approx. 0.64–1.0 kg per m² per cm thickness

Aggregate Size 1–3 mm:
- Resin : Aggregate = 1 : 12
- Approx. 1.3–1.8 kg per m² per cm thickness

Note: Smaller aggregates require higher resin consumption.

5. Pot Life & Curing

Pot Life: 6–12 months 
Varies with temperature; higher temperatures reduce working time. unopened. Materials exceeding shelf life must be tested before use.

Storage & Transport:
Store sealed in dry conditions at 5–30°C, away from direct sunlight, heat, and open flames.
