ResinMaxx - Ultimate Top Coat (Water-Based)

Ultimate Top Coat is an optional finishing step for Artmore and ResinMaxx floor systems. It provides a natural look and feel while delivering excellent scratch resistance, leaving your surface protected and ready for years of use.

We recommend the Ultimate Top Coat for both professional and DIY applications. It is fully compatible with all Artmore epoxy products and ResinMaxx floor systems, and adds an additional UV-protection layer, making it suitable for outdoor areas.

For application, lightly sand the surface with 220-grit sandpaper, remove all dust, and the surface is ready for the Ultimate Top Coat.

Application Instructions:

1. Mixing
   Thoroughly mix Ultimate Top Coat with a mixing stick for 2–3 minutes. Only prepare as much product as you can apply within 15 minutes.

2. Roller Preparation
   Prepare two paint rollers by de-shedding them. One will be your wet roller for applying the top coat, and the other will be your dry roller for evening out the finish.

3. Application

   • Pour the mixed top coat into a paint tray.

   • Saturate the wet roller and back-roll it in the tray to remove excess.

   • Apply a thin, even layer to the center of the countertop and work outward. Don’t forget to coat the edges.

   • Use the dry roller immediately afterward to lightly roll over the surface and eliminate any lap lines. Avoid over-rolling to reduce bubbles.

4. Dry Time

   • Dry to the touch: 6-8 hours

   • Ready for use: 24 hours
